One may want to disable this setting if for whatever reason the servers in question do not like repeated connect/disconnect attempts without
any notable protocol negotiation. When this setting is disabled, the status lights will still show, but they will only verify the ability
to look up the host entry.
The colors mean the following:
GREEN - The connection is good
YELLOW - Still attempting connection
RED - The connection attempt failed
WHITE - No information
